Chihuly at Biltmore Estate

April 30, 2018 | All Posts

During his lifetime, George Vanderbilt was a renowned art collector, and many pieces from his private collection are still on display at Biltmore today. The tradition continues in the 21st century with an exhibit of pieces by world famous glass artist Dale Chihuly. Throughout his five decade long career, Chihuly has exhibited works all throughout the world, but this is his first exhibit in North Carolina. Selected to flow with the landscaping design and aesthetic vision of Frederick Law Olmsted, these pieces are truly spectacular to behold.

For $120 plus tax per person, enjoy full estate admission for two days, including a evening tour of the gardens and first floor of the home lit to show the glass works in all their spectacular glory. Purchasing two day passes through us allows you to do a full self guided tour of the Biltmore House, gardens, & winery. A $150 value, these evening tickets have limited availability, and must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. While the Chihuly works throughout the garden are on display at all times, the Chihuly Nights Tours are only available Thursday – Sunday. Ask the innkeeper about adding one onto a reservation!
